Although we called for the end of vampires and zombies yesterday, that doesn’t we can have a little more fun with them, especially the walking dead. Tonight at the Ace of Clubs Theater, you’ll see something you probably haven’t before: Gay Zombie: A Glam Rock Zombie Musical, a sentence I’ve been waiting to type for quite some time.

Written by and starring Matthew Fletcher, this one-night-only performance, which begins at 7 p.m., is about Tom, “not your typical zombie. He’s a glam rock gay zombie with a kick ass zombie band,” performing songs by AC/DC, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails and others [note: not to be picky, but since when AC/DC glam?]. Through this music, “Tom takes the audience through his journey of becoming a zombie, fleeing to New York to escape authorities and trying to find life, love and brains in the big city.”

Tickets for Gay Zombie, which can be purchased here, cost $13, and, of course, come with a free cocktail.
