Yesterday was Day One of the New York Comedy Festival, making today Day Two. See how that works? Here’s what on the schedule:
Meet the Creators: Ugly Americans
Apple Store SoHo, 6 p.m.
Go behind the scenes with the comics that voice this animated series. Ugly Americans follows Mark Lilly, social worker at the Department of Integration, as he helps new citizens both human and “other” adapt to hectic life in the Big Apple. Between his stressful job, a zombie roommate and a demon girlfriend, Mark can barely manage to keep his life together. With a fresh visual style, this bold and irreverent animated series shows us a brave new world where creatures and humans live together in imperfect harmony. Moderated by Randy Pearlstein, this panel discussion features Kurt Metzger, Larry Murphy, Matt Oberg and Daniel Powell.
Kevin Hart
Beacon Theatre, 7:30 p.m./10:15 p.m.
Kevin Hart has burst on to the scene as one of the most versatile comedy actors in film and television. He was last seen in Death at a Funeral, a remake of the 2007 British movie of the same name, alongside Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence. Earlier this year, he was seen on the big screen in the hit Screen Gems drama Not Easily Broken opposite Morris Chestnut and Taraji P. Henson. He’s also appeared in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Scary Movie 3, Along Came Polly, Epic Movie and In the Mix.

Gabriel Iglesias
Town Hall, 8 p.m.
Gabriel Iglesias has been described as unbelievably funny, electrifying and a gifted performer who has the ability to consistently deliver a quality comedy experience in every venue he performs. Gabriel’s high-octane show is a hilarious mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all of his personal issues to life. Gabe’s clean, animated comedic style has earned national crossover appeal. Ask anyone who has seen him in concert and you will probably hear the same thing: “He was so funny!”
Louis C.K.
Carnegie Hall, 8 p.m.
With more than 20 years as a stand-up, Louis C.K. is one of the most honest and respected comedic voices of his generation, finding success in television and film as well as the live stage. Louis’ new FX series, Louie, where’s he executive producer, writer, director, editor and star, is based on his life as a stand-up comic and single father of two living in New York City. Louis’ stand-up concert film, Louis C.K.: Hilarious, premiered at The Sundance Film Festival in January as the first stand-up concert film presented at Sundance. Directed by Louis, the film received rave reviews with Variety declaring, “Standup comedy cinema has a new star in Louis C.K.: Hilarious.”
