Did you know Hanukkah begins December 1 this year? It’s relatively early (it began December 9 in 2009), so now’s the time to start thinking about what you want to get your Jewish friends. I’m Jewish and your friend, so, in other words, it’s time to think about what you should be getting me. You could do a lot worse than check out the J(ewish) C(ommunity) C(enter) Book Fair. From today-Wednesday, there will a cocktail party, pancake breakfast, special guests and, of course, books, all at the Manhattan JCC.
