Is it possible to hear the word “beets” without thinking of The Office‘s Dwight K. Schrute, played by Rainn Wilson? The actor has made a wonderful career out of playing odd characters, from Lahnk in Galaxy Guest to Arthur Martin in Six Feet Under to Bobby Stoan in Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! But he’s most well known for playing Dwight, lover of weapons and hates of vegetarianism.
Tonight at the Strand, Wilson, along with Old 97s’ front man Rhett Miller, will discuss Soulpancake, which is “dedicated to stimulate your brain, spark your soul and figure out what it means to be human,” according to the Strand’s website. The event’s from 7-8 p.m. with more information here.
