Pam Ann is the air hostess alter-ego of Australian comedienne Caroline Reid. Her performances focus on the crazy nuances of air travel, identifying the individual quirks of some of the biggest international airlines.
Glamorous, hilarious and outrageous, Pucci-clad Pam has toured with Cher and crewed private jets for Elton John. She takes passengers on a raucous journey from security check-in to boarding to, hopefully, landing. Fasten your seatbelts, stow your designer hand luggage and prepare to be flown like you’ve never been flown before.
Her style leans towards camp humour, in the vein of Dame Edna Everage, Kathy Griffin and Chelsea Handler and she has developed a cult-like following and fans include Madonna, who describes Pam as “cruelly funny”.
Pam Ann Crash Lands into Joe’s Pub Direct from London’s West End to present her brand new comedy show, Pam Ann: High Alert. It’s an interactive show and includes new uproarious segments including ‘Person of interest’, a skit that delighted London audiences. It involves selecting two unsuspecting men from the crowd and probing into their sex lives.
“Gay men are fun to mess with,” explains Pam. “Who else but a crazed gay man would have the wherewithal to inflate a slide and run home to his man in Queens with two Heinekens?”
