Blitz the Ambassador
The Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturday attracts thousands of visitors to free programs of art and entertainment each month. An exploration of Afro-Latin culture through art, music, and performance will be taking place on June 4th with highlights such as recording Artist Blitz the Ambassador to perform.
Ghanaian artist Blitz the Ambassador will be presenting a hip-hop set with the Embassy Ensemble. While receiving high acclaims in the music industry with his amazing instrumentals and thought provoking lyrics, Blitz the Ambassador has released his fifth album this year. As a renowned hip-hop and visual artist based in Brooklyn, Blitz the Ambassador is just one of the many reasons not to miss this upcoming First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum.
First Saturday is a Brooklyn Museum event which takes place on the first Saturday of each month. First Saturdays debuted at the Brooklyn Museum in October 1998. Conceived by museum Director Arnold L. Lehman, First Saturdays is a component of an effort to expand the museums audience by attracting diverse visitors of all ages including families and young adults.
