If John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Bed-Ins were to give peace a chance, what does staying in a bathroom for five days represent?

Gothamist today writes about Mark Malkoff, a “comedian, writer and filmmaker,” who’s “going to live in his New York City bathroom for five days.” Malkoff “claims this is to combat his internet addiction, so he won’t be bringing his iPhone or laptop in with him.” But while living just inches away from the toilet, he will attempt to, among other tasks, read Gravity’s Rainbow, memorize all the U.S. Presidents in order, read a friend’s screenplay, memorize the Sermon on the Mount and learn how to play “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” on guitar.

The Bathroom-In began earlier today, and you can follow along here (his wife is taking over his Twitter).
