Earlier this year, Katie Finneran won a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Award for her role as Marge MacDougall in Promises, Promises. She also got married to Darren Goldstein (Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson), and they’re expecting a child this winter. What a year, and on October 10, Finneran will play her final performance in the hit comedy musical. I think we can all agree she deserves a break.
Casting for the next Marge MacDougall hasn’t been announced yet.
