Eugene Mirman, the “world’s foremost Eugene-named entertainer,” is a Russian-born comedian who has—this is gonna take awhile—appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Flight of the Conchords, Home Movies; toured with Patton Oswalt’s Comedians and Comedy; opened for bands like Yo La Tengo and Modest Mouse with a stand up set; released three albums, including En Garde on Sub Pop records; and, oh yeah, he’s got a comedy festival, too.
Now in its third year, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival is bigger than ever. Taking place from September 16-19 throughout Brooklyn, there will be nine different events, with performances by Hannibal Buress, Reggie Watts, John Oliver, David Cross and, of course, Mr. Mirman himself, who now lives in Brooklyn, among many others.
