A water balloon fight is one of summer’s more underrated events. It’s season specific (ever been hit in the winter? Awful), and tomorrow, Saturday the 28th, might be your last chance to have one in 2010. Unless you’re a terrible person and hit someone with a freezing cold balloon in October.

Greenpoint Open Studios (GOS) is a weekend long event in Greenpoint, Brooklyn “where artists open their studios in an effort to build, sustain and support a thriving arts community.” And at 3 p.m., they’re hosting a water balloon fight at the India Street Mural (West Street and the East River). It costs $10 to participate, but you have an opportunity to win half of the proceeds per game with the other half going towards GOS.
