Encore doesn’t often write about TV (note that this article is in the “Film” section), which is a shame because it might just be my favorite medium. Sure, movies and Broadway are great, but how can they compete with Friday Night Lights, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Dexter or, hell, even Glee? Even in a post-Sopranos and -Wire world, it’s a good time to be a television fan.
