Two days, New York got its first look (and taste) of Eataly, Mario Batali’s 50,000 square-foot Italian superstore in the Flatiron District. There is so much cheese, bread, wine, meat, olive oil and vegetables that you can live in there for the rest of your life and never go hungry again. Check out the photos below to see what we mean:

Ohhhh, now I get it!

In the USA, we can make anything horned.

Good thing this is a classy joint ’cause otherwise, that sign would be slightly altered…

What looks like a bowl of dip is actually parmigiano.

Eataly’s tribute to Mike Piazza.

The store has four iPads, for some reason. First time I used one, though (my hands on the left!)

The previously seen shark, sans head.

On the bottom right, you’ll notice “whole rab—” If I included the picture of what it is, my girlfriend would break up with me. She likes rabbits, especially when they’re not dead.

A comically large bottle of beer.
