Much of New York City’s best food can be found not in actual restaurants, but out in the street, made in a truck. The food truck craze is, well, not even a craze anymore; it’s as much a part of the city as ‘Wich, just less corporate and much more delicious. Tomorrow, September 5, you can find all the best food trucks in one place: Governors Island.
“Parked,” brought to you by the creators of Bklyn Yard, will have “eats from NYC’s best food carts and trucks,” including Jamaican Dutchy Truck, Rickshaw Dumpling, Green Pirate juice, Joyride Truck, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Van Leeuwan Artisan Ice Cream, Halo Berlin, The Cinnamon Snail, Kelvin Natural Slush Co, Hermelinda Mexicana and more. There will also be specially crated local beer.
The foodie goodness is from 12-5 p.m., Saturday 5. More information can be found here.
