Two things Encore love converge tonight at the Museum of the Moving Image: Jack Goes Boating and Amy Ryan. The actress, who is fantastic in everything she does but especially in The Wire and Gone Baby Gone, will discuss her career in a conversation with David Schwartz, followed by a screening of her new film, Jack Goes Boating. If you read our September issue (which can be found here!), you know Boating stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Ortiz and Ryan, and that it’s based on an Off-Broadway play.

Tonight’s conversation/screening begins at 7 p.m. at the Scandinavia House (58 Park Ave.). Tickets cost $18 public/$12 members. If you do go, ask if she’s going to come back to Dundler Mifflin and take over Michael Scott’s job.
