This Saturday, September 18, Billy Elliot the Musical is holding an open call for ballet girls at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th St.). Producers are specifically on the look out for dancers with “strong tap skills from 8-12 years old” in a “variety of shapes and sizes (tiny, chubby, lanky, quirky, etc.) with expressive character and lots of personality” to play the ballet girls in the Stephen Daldry-directed Billy Elliot, according to a press release.
