Jack McBrayer Joins Cast of The Normal Heart

Now that he’s no longer taking the midnight train to Georgia, Kenneth Parcell—I mean, Jack McBrayer—has decided to join the cast of The Normal Heart for their 25th anniversary performance. McBrayer, best known for 30 Rock‘s well meaning page, will work alongside the previously announced Victor Garber, Jason Butler Harner, John Benjamin Hickey, Michael Stuhlbarg, Patrick Wilson and Joe Mantello.

Written by Larry Kramer, The Normal Heart is about the early years of the AIDS epidemic. It originally ran at the Public Theater for 294 performances. This year’s performance, however, will be for one night only, on October 18 at 7:30 p.m, with benefits going toward The Actors Fund and Friends in Deed.
