The forever lovable Fyvush Finkel will return to the stage next month in Fyvush Finkel Live!, beginning Oct. 17 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center. Perhaps best known for playing Tevye in the national tour of Fiddler on the Roof (or maybe as Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, or maybe as Harvey Lipschultz in Boston Public, or maybe…), Finkel will be joined on stage by his sons, Ian and Elliot.

According to press notes, “Fyvush Finkel offers a first-hand account of an incredible career spanning English and Yiddish roles, from Second Avenue to modern-day television stardom. A musical celebration of a life on stage, Fyvush Finkel Live! is chock-a-block with songs, stories, jokes and ample evidence of Finkel’s undiminished mastery, at 88, of showbusiness razzle dazzle.”

Performances run from Oct. 17-Nov. 7 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Ave.). For more information, including how to purchase tickets, please click here.
