Just a reminder that performances for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, a.k.a. the most obnoxious Broadway title to constantly write since A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, begin today at the Belasco Theater, with an official opening set for November 4. The Bartlett Sher-directed musical, based on Pedro Almodóvar’s film, stars Sherie Rene Scott, Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti and Brian Stokes Mitchell, with book, music and lyrics from David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane.
