As if the release of The Age of Adz wasn’t enough, yesterday we learned that New York choreographer Justin Peck has created a ballet based on Sufjan Steven’s Run Rabbit Run. The 2009 album is a re-working of Steven’s Enjoy Your Rabbit, released in 2001, by the Osso String Quartet, and now Peck is re-working it again. This time, it’ll be performed as part of the New York Choreographic Institute 10th Anniversary Celebration on November 5 and 6.

Thank God he picked Rabbit, not “John Wayne Gacy, Jr.”
