Are You (un)afraid?

Fear is in the air, with only 17 days until Halloween. For the New York Neo-Futurists, that means it’s time for an experiment, one that welcomes you to other’s nightmares. For (un)afraid, the theater group will call upon a different spirit guide for each performance, including Edgar Allen Poe and Mary Shelley, in the hopes of figuring out why we fear. The Neo-Futurists will combine “elements of personal ghost story, video assault, monster-mash-mayhem and audience-interactive freak-out” to help make their contact with the spirits—and show us our true fears.

(un)afraid is written and performed by Daniel McCoy, Cara Francis, Jill Beckman, Richardo Gamboa, and features Nicole Strawbridge, Jon Herzog and Mike Puckett. For more information, and a full performance schedule at the Living Theatre, please click here.
