The British are coming, the British are coming! Not to kill us, or bring their -mania’s, either; this time, they’re coming to make us laugh, something they’ve been fairly successful at (see below). Tonight and tomorrow at Webster Hall, the British Comedy Invasion—made up of Stephen Frost, Andy Smart, Steve Steen, Richard Vranch and Neil Mullarkey—will offer the “world [or at least Webster Hall] their very own brand of British comedy through improvisation, where the audience writes the script through spontaneous ideas and the comedians create the show from there.” For more information, please click here.

Below are our five favorite active (which excludes people like Peter Sellers and the Monty Python gang, who sadly lost Graham Chapman in 1989) British comedians, but instead of explaining why they’re our favorites (there’s nothing worse than someone explaining a joke), we’re just going to provide a clip of something bloody hilarious, as they say across the pond.
