A Concert for Every Hour of CMJ, Day 1
The shows to see on 10/19
| | More
Today at 1 p.m., when Ok Sweetheart and Tamar Haviv take the stages at Arlene’s Grocery and Spike Hell, the CMJ 2010 Music Music Marathon and Film Festival will have begun. From today until Saturday, the 23rd, more than 1,200 bands will perform. This year has a great mix of older, more established names (Yo La Tengo, Phoenix) with up-and-comers (the Drums, Neon Indian), and you never know who will be this year’s buzz band.
For each day of CMJ, we’ll have the group you should check out for every hour of the festival. Obviously, it’s impossible to see everyone, but if you’ve got your pass, why not check out as many groups as possible?
