“Silly Spooky” is the perfect way to describe The Goonies. It’s not a scary film, but the idea of One-Eyed Willy could frighten a small child, or a really wussy adult. And Chunk, well, “silly” defines that guy. Have you seen the Truffle Shuffle? Tonight at Brooklyn’s Pacific Standard, Be a Fox presents a free screening of The Goonies, with all snacks (Robicelli’s Cupcakes!) and raffle funds going towards the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
