About:

Douglas Dunn makes dancers that expand the definition of the art, bringing psychological content and humor to the grace of the modern tradition. Here, the company reprises Dunn’s choreography for Stravinsky’s Pulcinella, a work commissioned in 1980 by the Autumn Festival and the Paris Opera Ballet. A dance for eight women and seven men, Pulcinella features costumes by Mimi Gross and lighting by Carol Mullins. This special program combines this Dunn classic with a new work from the company. then boss in man? features dancers Kira Blazek, Liz Filbrun, Jean Freebury, Paul Singh, and Christopher Williams and classical guitarist Tali Roth.
