PEN World Voices: The New York Festival of International Literature is a week-long literary festival in New York City composed of programs, readings, conversations, and debates that showcase international literature and new writers. The festival was launched in 2005 by PEN President Salman Rushdie. It is produced by PEN American Center, a nonprofit organization that works to advance literature, promote free expression, and foster international literary fellowship.
