This version of The Nutcracker is the first of the New York Theatre Ballet’s one–hour performances, which began in the 1980s with the goal of bringing classical ballet to the family audience. This presentation is the only hour–long professional production of The Nutcracker in the New York metropolitan area, making it a must–see for fans of the work and classical ballet. The dancers bring warmth and sincerity to the performance of a holiday classic that is suitable for the entire family.
